Time of Year - the weather could affect the type of vehicle you can use. Please contact us for advice.
How many people will be travelling in the car - generally three to four would be the maximum for a saloon car, or up to seven in a British Limousine such as the Classic Daimler DS420 or Austin Princess.
Vehicle Colour - If you are having photographs taken with the vehicle consider colour coordination, darker colour cars bring out the best in white or ivory dresses, You may also want to focus on the colour of your bridesmaids dresses in choosing the colour of your car.
Distance you are travellingDistance you are travelling - Some of our vintage cars maybe subject to distance.
Please consider the distance you are intending on travelling from home to the church or venue and onto your reception.
If you have chosen a Horse & Carriage, the journey must be short with no steep hills.
All our cars carry at least one umbrella and of course a caring chauffeur to reassure the bride if she is nervous. All our vehicles are decorated with a traditional V ribbon in Ivory or White.
If you have a specific ribbon colour we will require approximately six metres x 50 millimetre wide soft ribbon.
We also have front grill arrangements and bows if required.
Most of our cars have a silk flower rear parcel shelf arrangement, convertible/tourer or Landaulette do not have a parcel shelf for flowers.
We can also supply fresh flower arrangements if required and champagne service. Extra charges apply, details on request.
Our wedding service includes:
Two trips to the church, if within a short distance (first collecting the bridesmaids & mother/s etc) Returning for the Bride. Following the ceremony and photographs, one trip to the reception, this is normally with the bride and groom.
The bridesmaids often travel to the reception with their parents or partners.
Alternatively subject to distance and agreement with us, while the bride and groom are having their photographs taken, we can first take the bridesmaids to the reception & return to the church to collect the bride & groom.
Please consider the amount of time taken to do this and the weather conditions on the day. So your arrangements may well require two or more cars as the Groom's parents or family members may also require a car.
The best man normally arranges for the Groom to arrive at the church, well before the bride arrives. We have many suitable cars for this.
One-way hire: - for civil ceremony and reception in the same venue. We also offer two trips with this service, again subject to distance. The car and chauffeur will wait until after the ceremony for photographs, followed by a short trip in the car for the bride and groom if required.
We also offer Evening Transfers - Bride and Groom away from the reception to Hotel or Airport. Please contact us for a quotation.
